WRITER’S WORKSHOP – 19th September 4-6pm, £10
Join author, screenwriter and publishing consultant Trelawney Bresic for an intimate two-hour workshop designed to help new writers move their ideas forward — and understand what happens when the writing is done.
During the session, we will explore:
· How to turn an initial idea into a workable story
· Finding the time, confidence and motivation to keep writing
· Understanding story structure and what makes a manuscript work
· How to overcome the dreaded middle and actually finish your novel
· What happens once you have completed your manuscript
· The different routes to publication and how publishing works
· Common mistakes new authors make — and how to avoid them
· Practical ways to take your writing forward after the workshop
There will also be opportunities to share ideas, ask questions and meet other aspiring writers. With a maximum of ten participants, the workshop will be deliberately small and supportive, creating space for conversation, encouragement and the beginnings of a writing community.

TAROT WORKSHOP 1st, 15th, 29th November at 6pm, £60
A three-part course to familiarise yourself with the tarot and start reading the cards for friends and family. Held by Katalin, the Happy Witch, who has over 20 years of experience reading the cards, served as the chairperson of TABI – the Tarot Association of the British Isles, contributed to international magazines, tarot decks, and wrote the CARTA Award winning The Little Book of Tarot.

Part two: The Minor Arcana, basic numerology, basic spreads
Part three: The Court Cards, how to create custom spreads
Bring a notepad and your own deck, purchase one from the shop on the day, or use a practice deck provided by Katalin.
